About our Commercial Animals
Each day we live in deep respect beneath the umbrella of excellence set forth by the farmers and ranchers that came before us and their strict adherence to the Dorper breed standard.
JWM Dorpers is committed to the Fullblood Dorper breed standard of excellence.
Our goal for each animal offered for sale for commercial or for breeding will meet the T5 through T3 standard of excellence.
To maintain the breed standard of excellence we believe a cull is a cull. Whether you are purchasing registered breeding or commercial stock we want you to be satisfied with your purchase of JWM genetics. We will not sell inferior animals. We only offer for sale what we would be proud to keep as our own stock. Above all we value, walk-ability, productivity, fertility and adaptability in our animals.
Our commercial animals are handled with the same hands on care as our show stock. Being able to show and exhibit these superior animals, helps us continue to learn so that we can keep this breed relevant and improving well into the future. Beyond that, our goal is the highest quality carcass, robust health and immunity to drastic environments, the highest possible lambing percentages, and doing so each day in the most economically efficient way.
With all of our animals we are most focused on the commercial outcomes of maximizing efficient meat production through regenerative grazing.
